The Buddy Poppy is a symbol of remembrance for those who have given the ultimate sacrifice answering our nation's call.  The little red flowers are crafted by disabled and needy veterans in veterans homes throughout the U.S. as a means of physical therapy or to earn some extra spending money at the home's canteen (store).

 

 

All proceeds from the distribution of poppies are used to support the VFW's veteran service programs, supporting disabled and needy veterans, and to provide care, comfort, and support to the families of veterans lost.  There is no requirement to donate to receive a poppy, but your donations are greatly appreciated.
